My story

Meet Ocho! Ocho is a loving, playful pup who was rescued on Beltway 8 and has been an absolute joy ever since! He fit right in with his foster's dogs, quickly making friends with his kind and gentle nature. He’s always ready for snuggles and scratches, rubbing up against you for attention and love. This well-behaved boy is fully potty trained—no accidents in the house! He’s respectful of the home, sleeps soundly through the night in his own space, and has adjusted wonderfully to a busy schedule. Ocho is young and active, so he enjoys walks, backyard zoomies, and playtime with his furry friends. He’s not much of a barker but loves following his foster's dogs around, learning from them as he goes. One of his favorite things? Treats—especially dog cookies! And if you love to dance, Ocho will happily join in, making every moment even more fun. Ocho is truly a special dog with so much love to give. He would be the perfect addition to any home looking for a sweet, loyal companion! ****OCHO IS CURRENTLY IN TX, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our adoption fee is $350 plus health certificate ($50) transport ($200). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, neuter, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
