Wayne4 years old40 lbsNeutered maleLab mix Say hello to Wayne! He’s ready to be everyone’s best friend, and is one of the kindest dogs you’ll ever meet. He is a trusting and loving guy to his core, despite everything he’s been through. Wayne spent over 600 days at a Tennessee shelter, only to face a grim fate. But you honestly would never know it from his attitude! He’s a little sweetheart with a TON of personality! His foster family is so happy they picked him, he’s crushing life in a home and fits right in. He’s living with multiple dogs of all sizes, and young kids. Cats are unknown, but two of the dogs in the home are very small and he’s great with them! Wayne is going to make the best dog for a new family. Here’s why! He is: Super dog friendly and submissive during play Kid friendly Incredible in a crate Playful and loving Medium energy, loves walks and naps equally Awesome on leash Non-destructive Comfortable in a home, very easy-going Sweet Wayne is much improved with potty training already after one week in Buffalo and wears a belly band to help with marking. Certainly his very recent neuter will help, as well as patience and consistency. You can tell he definitely understands the concept and does better each day. He just underwent some dental work, and is on an antibiotic to help his skin, too. Shelter life was not easy on Wayne, and he’s got scars to prove it. It’s always wild to know that dogs this perfect get overlooked every day. He brings an incredible amount of happiness to any room. The way he stands up to give and receive hugs, and then nuzzles his head in until you let go. And when he looks right at you and flops onto his back submissively to welcome love. There aren’t enough great things to say about the guy. You kind of have to just meet him and experience wonderful, sweet Wayne, to know.
