My story

Name, age: Milo, 1 year old Likes: adores head pats, playing on his own, sleeping near you, cuts in gravy turkey and salmon flavors, spring and round toys (especially ones he can kick and pick up in his mouth), sitting on the windowsill listening to birds, his cat tent, walking/sleeping on your leg, mimicking your gestures, laying on his back, enjoys playing with springs or feather wandsDislikes: Being picked up suddenly, loud noises, closed doors, beef-flavored food, stick or feather toys, new visitorsWhat would be the ideal home? A quiet home with space to explore and hide, no young children, and someone patient who’ll let him adjust at his own paceGood with other cats? UnknownGood with dogs? NoGood with children? Yes, as long as it`s not toddlers or younger Personality: Gentle, quiet, independent but curious. Very sweet once he feels safe. He’s not clingy but enjoys your presence and is often nearby, even if hiding. Loves watching and mimicking you. Calm and never aggressive, no biting or clawing. How long will it take to settle into a new environment? About 1 week; keeping him in one room for the first 2 days helpsAny special needs or traits an adopter should know? -He is treat motivated, which really helps with building trust and getting him out of spots.-Grazes throughout the day, prefers to eat mostly at night-Makes chirping and squeaking sounds instead of full meows -Observant and mimics your routine (sleeps and wakes when you do)-Adjusts easily to litter changes-Meows and paws at closed doors, prefers them open-Not immediately cuddly, but once cozy, he’ll purr and snuggle in your armsIf you think Milo is the one for you - fill out an application today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Milo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
