My story

Name, Zuri, 8 months, Cane Corso/Mastiff mixLikes : Walks, Stuffies, chew bones, treats, peanut butter anything, sitting on your lap, attention Dislikes: some trucks, reactive dogs. What would be the ideal home? Any home that has mastiff/cane corso breed experience. She will be a big dog. She needs a yard, prefers to do her business in the same area, even if you walk her... she likes her spot.Good with other cats? unknownGood with dogs? yes, with proper introduction Good with children? yes, s long as they are comfortable with large breed dogs.Temperament: She is a sweet, alert, social, smart, happy girlMotivators? Treats, peanut butter flavor anything, praiseAny commands: sit, down, wait (for her food), off. House trained: yesCrate trained: at night... puts herself to bed, sleeps happily. Does not like to be in it when you are gone. She has been left alone in the house with lots of toys for short periods of time with no problemHow long will it take to settle into a new environment? A month or 2Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Zuri currently gets 50/50 easy digestible food and large breed puppy food. Zuri lunges at vehicles. Walks perfectly away from traffic, needs 3 feet or so away from traffic. Zuri would love a home to continue her training, get exercise, and be loved.Medical: Boney mass (not painful or growing - no treatment required)If you think Zuri is the one for you - fill out an application today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zuri, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
