My story

Meet Miller, the black and white gentleman with a tuxedo coat and a heart full of love. This dapper guy isn’t just sweet—he’s downright smitten with people. He’s always asking (okay, demanding) pets, reaching out with his paws, climbing into your arms, and making biscuits right on your shoulders. Miller doesn’t just want attention—he thrives on it. He’s also extremely talkative, with a wide vocabulary of meows, chirps, and trills to keep the conversation going. And when he really wants your focus? He does his signature look: eyes wide open, head tilted just so—like he's about to deliver the world’s most important (and dramatic) news. Miller came to us with an injury on his right shoulder and a bit of damage to his left ear, but our vet has cleared him—he just needs a little time to finish healing. And while his body recovers, Miller is already working his magic on hearts. If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate, and endlessly loving companion, Miller is ready to make your home—and your lap—his forever. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
