My story

Lulu is a gentle, loving senior lady with a heart full of affection. At 10 years old, she enjoys the simple things in life—quiet naps, soft beds, and spending time with her favorite people. She’s sweet and mellow, with just a hint of playfulness when the mood strikes, especially for a feather toy or a crinkly ball. Lulu is friendly with everyone she meets—men, women, and children—and would make a wonderful, calming presence in any home. She’s spayed and fully up-to-date on her medical care, so all she needs now is a cozy spot and someone to love. If you’re looking for a soft, steady companion who will bring warmth and comfort to your days, Lulu would love to meet you. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
