My story

Meet Scout, an adorable 20lb Terrier/Chi/Cattle Dog type mix who came from local animal control as an unclaimed stray. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be with people and receive attention. He knows sit and paw, and will happily offer those commands whenever you would like, sometimes even when you are not asking for them. He did get along with some small dogs at animal control, but has not been a fan of other dogs since arriving at the shelter. Scout still has some energy and is working on leash manners. He can tend to grab the leash to try to tug or be a little mouthy when he gets excited. Scout can be nervous with fast hands so would do best with older children/teenagers.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scout, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
