My story

King Louie is a strong and gentle teenage dog that is on the road to recovery and looking for a patient and caring foster home where he can continue to heal comfortably. Despite his past injuries, King Louie’s spirit remains unshaken—he’s calm, loving, and eager to find a peaceful environment to regain his strength. Reason for Foster: History of right radius and ulna fracturesFoster Time Frame: 2+ weeks (Vet exam on 6/12)(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: History of right radius and ulna fractures. King Louie needs strict rest due to history of fractures in front limb and must be on leash for short walks to go potty. No jumping or running or free access to larger spaces. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup appointment and the Foster team will supply all necessary items for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt: King Louie is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
