My story

Uno`s Compatibility:Dogs: Meet & GreetCats: TBDKids: Yes, 12 years old or olderUno is not your average puppy, and that’s putting it lightly. He was the sole survivor of a traumatic emergency c-section after his mom arrived at HSHC in distress. Our medical team performed life-saving CPR to keep him alive. Because of the complications of his birth, Uno was rejected by his mom and had to be bottle-fed around the clock by shelter staff and fosters.That kind of beginning doesn`t come without challenges. Uno is still working through some behavior quirks and is looking for an adopter who understands that he’s a little different. He needs someone patient and willing to help him continue growing into the dog he’s meant to be.We’re still getting to know how Uno does with other animals, but we do know he needs a home with kids aged 12 and up.If you’ve got the heart and time for a truly one-of-a-kind pup, come meet Uno. He’s been a fighter since day one, and now he’s looking for someone to keep fighting for him.
