My story
Mama Huron came to us with 7 pups, from a tiny Central Valley town… Huron. So we named her pups after other small, Central Valley towns…. Mom and pups, soon ready for adoption! Huron is mostly Pointer it seems, though a mix, and she is a very good mom to her babes, she is on the meek and shy side. We look forward to getting her off and away from the pups, and being able to have her personality and confidence blossom. She is an observant and sensitive dog, with some catching up to do learning about living a life as a loved and important family member, a companion, not having to worry about her next meal or the safety of her pups. Huron is at our Sanctuary, and available for foster or adoption by mid June. Call 707-459-4900 and talk to Amy in the Sanctuary office if you would like to meet Huron of her pups!
