My story

Meet Fonda, an adorable German Shepherd mix pup with a heart as sweet as her face! Fonda is the perfect combination of playful and chill—she loves running around and playing fetch, but is equally content to curl up at your feet for a cozy nap while you relax. This cuddle bug gets along with everyone—she’s great with other dogs and friendly and gentle with dog-savvy kids. We even think she could be a good candidate for a home with cats, as those she’s met so far she has been very relaxed around! Although Fonda is a well-behaved puppy, she is still a puppy and will require some training on her way to being the perfect companion. She would benefit from a family who is invested in continuing her training. She’s already made impressive strides with her potty training and leash walking, and she does great in her crate when we leave for errands and sleeps through the night without a peep. Happy and easygoing, Fonda’s relatively low-key nature makes her a wonderful addition to any home. She’s also, thus far, not much of a barker! If you’re looking for a loving, sweet, and playful pup to brighten your days, Fonda just might be your girl.
