My story

Raveena - meaning sunshine or spreading sunshine in Sanskrit. This outgoing pup who hails from Tulare County Animal Services is eager to experience life outside of a kennel! She's active and ready for a home full of adventures and socialization. She gets along with smaller dogs, from what we've seen, but would do best with dogs who have calmer demeanors. This young, bright kid will need physical stimulation such as hiking and walks quite frequently, but mental stimulation is just as important! Licky mats, puzzle toys, and slow feeders help with mentally stimulating animals which is a very important aspect of owning an active dog. Come meet this bright ray of sunshine today and see if she is the right fit for your lifestyle! Read what a volunteer who took Raveena on a hike had to say about her! "More reserved, really likes to sniff and explore. Very calm walker. It took a little more time for her to warm up to us, but once she did, we found she really really likes pets. Especially scratches on the neck/behind the ears. At one point, she tried to crawl into my lap for pets. She seems to get a little stressed when other dogs are around and it was hard to distract her because she wasn't as treat-motivated. She only took treats when there weren't other people/dogs nearby. She might be more affection-motivated. I think she needs opportunities to develop her confidence and also work on preventing her from developing reactivity."

If you have any questions or would like to adopt RAVEENA , please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
