My story

Hi there, I am a pretty little female Lab mix puppy named Scout. I am about 16 weeks old, weigh 14.2 lbs, and I was at the San Antonio city animal shelter with the rest of my siblings, all of us on the euthanasia list. It's a sad state of affairs when sweet little puppies are killed just to make space, but it happens every day here in Texas. Bless our lucky stars when a couple of dog rescues saved us all. My sister Charlee and I went with 4 Little Paws Rescue, and we are feeling might happy about it. We are now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find wonderful forever families! I am a great little girl with a medium energy level, gobs of sweetness for snuggles and kisses, and belly rubs!! I make friends easily with everyone, young and old, big and small, humans and dogs, but I haven't met a kitty cat. I love playtime and puppy toys, am curious about everything, and a bit mischievous, LOL! That just means I’m smarter than the average bear, and my foster mom says I can find and figure things out quickly! I’m adventurous and funny, and I already know how to use a potty pad in my kennel with a solid start on housebreaking. I have a wonderful appetite, not fussy at all, and I would fit in easily with any family looking for a wonderfully sweet, happy, playful, friendly canine companion! My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT.
