My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Earlier Napoleon was at the front of the kennel meowing, but when approached for the assessment, he was lying comfortably on top of his Kuranda bed. He was alert and quiet, sniffed treats, and was fairly quickly coaxed off the Kuranda bed for more treats. He allowed and enjoyed petting, leaning in gently for cheek rubs while eating squeeze-up. He struggled slightly when picked up but tolerated it and retreated to the back of the kennel when set back down. Shortly thereafter, he came forward again to eat more squeeze-up.Napoleon interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in litter box avoidance/spraying as well as counseled on his slight discomfort with being picked up.A volunteer writes: Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Napoleon curled his head into my hand and told me all about his day within the first few minutes of meeting. Napoleon was brought to us after moving around quite a bit with the best intentions. He's found himself at the shelter where he's been trying to introduce himself to everyone walking by. At 14 years young, he usually does this from his Kuranda bed, but I think Napoleon knows he needs to do what he can to stand out here at the hustling and bustling Care Center. Maybe he's been working on a more defined strategy, but in the meantime he chirps out his thoughts, his hopes, and his dreams to have a family to call his very own. Napoleon brightens when someone takes the time to visit with him, so we hope you will do this soon. Primary Color: Gray Secondary Color: White Weight: 11 Age: 14yrs 0mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Napoleon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
