Meet Ernie – Your Future Sidekick This adorably unique little guy is a 4-month-old Yorkie-Pitbull mix—yes, you read that right. He’s equal parts scruffy charm and wiggly goofball. Ernie is currently soaking up all the love in foster care while working on his potty and crate training (he’s getting the hang of it!). Despite his young age, Ernie is already showing signs of being a loyal, people-focused pup. He loves playtime, cuddles, and following his humans around like the curious little shadow he is. If you’re interested in adopting Ernie (or any of our dogs), please submit an application. ⸻ All dogs are: • Vaccinated (age appropriate) • Spayed/neutered • On flea/tick & heartworm prevention • Dewormed • Microchipped We do not require a fenced yard (unless otherwise stated), but adopters must have a safe containment plan—this can include an electric fence. All adopted dogs must remain on year-round heartworm prevention for life. We do not allow force-based training (e.g., prong, shock, choke, or pinch collars).
