You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Crinkle! She's the mama cat to her 3 babies (Bagel, Biscuit and Flour). She has been the absolute BEST mom! She is extremely loving and affectionate. She will follow you around sweetly requesting you give her some love and pets. She was a stray in North Carolina who ended up in a shelter. She got her name due to her crinkled ear - she saw our vet and they said it was due to either a bad infection or untreated hematoma. It's not painful for her, and there's nothing that can be done about it at this point. We think it gives her extra character and makes her look like a part Scottish Fold breed! She has been the perfect house guest - she clearly seems so relieved and happy to be in a loving home with her babies rather than out on the streets and isn't taking it for granted. She is so sweet to all the other cats she is being fostered with and is more than happy to share her babies with anybody! She is a petite little thing, looking like a kitten herself at only 6 pounds. She has the prettiest dilute coloring and very soft fluffy hair. She'll make a wonderful addition to your home! She will be available for adoption once her babies stop nursing, which should be around June 23rd.  This cat is spayed, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *     DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:  Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity.
