My story

Meet Captain Cat Sparrow! Sparrow was brought into the shelter in active labor, and ended up giving birth to her babies in her kennel. We brought the whole family home shortly after, and immediately noticed that when Sparrow walked, her tush lagged a few steps behind her. Her foster mom joked that she must be a pirate because seems to have lost control of her booty   While she loves her babies we know it stresses her out to have to protect them from major threats like strange kittens or dogs or vacuum cleaners. We think she'd do best in a home with another young cat she can acclimate to, or as an only cat where she'll get lots of human attention. She may need some small accommodations to make her home safer for her. She is a very bad jumper, and we haven't given her a chance to try stairs but a baby gate wouldn't be a bad idea. She's otherwise a super healthy happy girl who is getting spayed this week, and should be available to go home by June 14th.   All Biscuits and Breadsticks kittens will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations, and be microchipped prior to adoption.  Interested in adopting one of our kittens? Go to biscuitsandbreadsticks.org/adopt and complete an adoption application to be considered! Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to all inquiries individually. If your application looks like it may be a good fit for your selected kitten, one of our adoption coordinators will be in touch within 10 business days to set up a phone/zoom interview. We appreciate your patience, and we look forward to learning more about your family!  ##2423614##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Captain Cat Sparrow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
