My story

Echo is a tiny boy at only 6 lbs. He lived his entire life with the same family. They wrote that he lived outdoors while they were at work all day. He started coughing so at 9 years old, the family took him to the shelter to be euthanized. He has too much life to live, so they had the family surrender him without euthanasia. We are so thankful for that! Turns out he had a very low Valley Fever titer. Once he started on the anti-fungal medication, the cough went away. Since his titer is so low, he will need to be on meds for a while, but NOT for life! We also realized he needed a dental and neuter. Turns out he only had 4 teeth left in his mouth and all 4 had to come out. He is now an adorable toothless little man with his tongue hanging out at times! He does amazing with other dogs. He wants to be part of the family but has not worked up the courage to ask to sit on anyone`s lap. Despite this, he still wants to be around his people and his doggie foster siblings. He is looking for a family (without young kids) that will not cast him out. A family that wants him to be a part of their family. We can see how much love he has and how happy he is being with everyone! Are you that patient family that wants to give Echo his very own forever home?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Echo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
