My story

Meet John!!  John is a one year-old, 10 pound, Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and snuggles to spare! The sweet little guy is the ultimate lapdog - he thrives on cuddles and is always ready to shower you with kisses. John is crate trained, house trained, and rides well in the car. He is currently working on leash training skills and making great progress! He gets along well with other dogs and would be a wonderful companion in a calm, loving home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate pup who’s happiest curled up in your lap, John may be the perfect match! If you are interested in adopting John, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **     June 7, 2025, 8:40 pm
