My story

Meet Tillie!  Tillie is a sweet and spirited 1.5-year-old, 60-pound Labrador Retriever mix who’s ready to find her forever family! With her big heart and playful nature, she’s sure to bring lots of love and laughter to the right home. Tillie is still learning and growing, so she’s looking for a family that will be patient and committed to helping her become the very best version of herself. She’s lived with children and cats before, though she does like to chase them in hopes of sparking a play session—so playful companions or an understanding household would be ideal! While she may be a little shy at first with new people or dogs, give her a little time and she’ll melt right into your hands. Once you’re in her circle, you’ll have a loyal, affectionate friend for life. Tillie is create and house trained, fully vetted and microchipped! If you’re ready for a loving, playful companion who’s eager to bond and grow with you, Tillie might just be your perfect match!  If you are interested in adopting Tillie, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet.
