My story

Hi, I’m Star – and I’m ready to shine in a home of my own. 🌟 My name is Star, and I’ve been through a lot lately. You may have heard of my sister, Nova — we were both out there together for a while, but when Nova was found, I was too scared to come close. It took me some time, and a lot of bravery, but I made it. For a month, I had to fend for myself, and while that made me cautious, it also made me strong. I’m still learning to trust, but every day I come out of my shell a little more. I’m what the humans call a “Velcro dog” — when I bond with you, I won’t want to leave your side. I’m calm, quiet, and gentle, and I love nothing more than curling up next to someone I trust. You’ll usually find me snoozing on a soft couch or cuddled up next to you — they say I’m a true Cuddle Bug. I do really well in the car and at the vet (even though it’s not my favorite place), and I’m picking up on new things quickly. I’m sensitive and smart, and I appreciate a peaceful, quiet home where I can continue to feel safe and loved. Sudden noises or busy places can still make me nervous — but with patience and kindness, I’ll show you just how sweet and loving I can be. Right now, my true personality is still blooming, but those who know me already say I’m a sweetheart with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion who just needs a little time and TLC, I might be the perfect pup for you. Let’s write the rest of my story together.
