My story

Warren is a 14-year-old senior who recently lost his home due to a move. This dignified gentleman is quiet and reserved, showing signs of stress and confusion after such a big life change. He’s easy to handle, goes potty right away outside, and takes everything in with calm, watchful eyes. Warren doesn’t seek out attention, but he tolerates gentle affection. He seems most comfortable simply existing nearby, especially with his buddy Brody close at hand. While Brody often checks in on Warren, Warren appears more aloof, perhaps just trying to find his footing again. Warren deserves a soft landing in a peaceful home where he can rest, decompress, and feel safe once more. Meet him at ACCT Philly daily from 10 am to 6 pm VIDEOS Warren Meets Bluey: https://youtube.com/shorts/M81AojPHFvw BEHAVIOR 06/12/2025 volunteer notes: Easy to leash, went potty outside quickly. Had loose stool. Aloof, stress panting, tail down not wagging, wide eyes. Unfazed when being pet, did not solicit further touching. Brody seems very attached to Warren. Seeks him out and checks in with him often. Warren appears indifferent to Brody. 06/07/2025 The owner noted that Warren "lived with children 10-12 years old, cats dogs and small mammals. Is fully house broken, low energy, walks on leash without pulling, has a high prey drive. Knows his name and the command sit. Super friendly/loves strangers and children. Is nervous/fearful with dogs and depends on the situation with cats. He is loosing his eyesight and has a little cyst on his belly." The owner said that the perfect home for Warren would be "just to live out his life with a family with older children who will love him and just feed him scraps from the table." Their favorite thing about Warren is "how he just knows when you need a cuddle. He has been with us with losing many family members and he just knew when I needed to be loved." MEDICAL Per an exam on 6/10: "Coughing, possible heart problems, check lumps, senior. -BAR, nervous but tolerant -Severe dental disease - right upper canine (104) has gingival recession and draining tract with purulent discharge above gumline, generalized heavy tartar, gingivitis.
