My story
Chicken is a very sweet and affectionate boy who absolutely loves people. He’s lived with both dogs and cats and got along great with everyone—though he can be a bit playful and rowdy with dog friends. Chicken is mostly housetrained but is still a young dog and will need help learning how to walk on a leash, what are toys and what are not toys, and basic manners. The good news is, HSC has a knowledgeable staff that can offer advice and recommendations so that he can get off on the right foot! All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
