My story

Meet our majestic, one-of-a-kind King!  King is the definition of a gentle giant. A day spent lounging, playing, and going on long sniffy walks throughout the city with his favorite people is the dream for him. He responds well to tasty treats, and his absolute favorite are hot dogs! He’s got great taste, just hold the mustard. King likes nice calm playtime with his canine friends and despite his size, has a soft spot for little dogs! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications.
