My story

*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, June 28*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Ringo is a spirited young pup with an energetic, playful personality that brings a lot of joy to those around him. Hes still learning some of the finer points of good mannerslike keeping all four paws on the ground and not using his mouth in playbut his enthusiasm is all about love and excitement. Ringo is especially affectionate with his human companions and lights up when its time for a walk or playtime.Hes making great progress with training and already knows how to sit on command. He also does very well with crate time, especially when settling in for the night, although he may bark a little at first when left alone during the day. Ringo is housebroken and continues to adapt well to a routine. He absolutely adores other dogs and has been happily living with two senior pups in his foster homea 10-year-old mini poodle and an 11-year-old miniature schnauzergetting along beautifully and showing great social skills. Walks are a favorite activity and a great outlet for his puppy energy. While Ringo can be cautious around new people and may bark or growl initially, with slow and thoughtful introductions he learns to feel comfortable. Hes a loving companion who thrives with patient guidance and would do well with someone who can offer consistency and understanding as he continues to grow into his best self.Name: RingoBreed: Terrier mixAge: ~1.5 years Weight: ~27lbSex: Male, neutered Colour: White and brown Medical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with women: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with kids 0-6: Unknown, not testedGood with kids 7-15: Unknown, not tested but suspect yes due to temperament When the dog meets new people, he: Approaches in a neutral manner, Happy tail wag, May bark or growl with new people in unfamiliar environments Good with dogs: Yes, happy to co-exist with other dogsHow does this dog react to meeting new dogs?
