Wiggly, snorty, and full of love!! Violet is a people-focused sweetheart who’s happiest when snuggled up next to you. She’s easy to leash, walks well, and melts right into affection, placing her paws gently in your lap for pets and attention. Violet is very handler-oriented and thrives with human connection, but she’s still figuring out how to interact with other dogs. In playgroup, she was unsure at first, and after some tense greetings, she let the others know she needed space. With time, structure, and the right match, Violet may be able to build her confidence around other dogs, but for now, she’d likely prefer to be your one and only. If you’re looking for a snuggly sidekick who lives for your love, Violet is ready to bloom in a home of her own. Reach out to foster@acctphilly.org to arrange a meet or get more information! She loves hot dogs and was very handler oriented. Every time that I stop petting, she turned around and shoves her big head in my face (gently) to ask me to pet her more. She kept offering up her belly for pets. She’s very gentle with treats, but not super interested in toys - she really just wanted my attention and hotdog. She’s a silly little piglet girl who really loves being with her person and just wants to snort her way through life with someone! 06/07/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Violet had good greetings and was steerable at the gate. she was unsure with the dogs at first but was very handler orientated. she was stiff whenever she met with a dog and was not steerable in the yard. she began correcting the other dogs the more she was in the yard so we removed her 06/06/2025 staff notes: Presented at front of kennel with ears up, mid level wags, eager to come out. Looped up easily, smooth exit. Pulls minimally to moderately on leash. Throughout remained very handler-oriented, sociable, accepting of all-over handling (enjoyed snuggling up in front of me while I was seated, soliciting attention by placing her paws on my lap then settling as soon as pets continued). No interest in toys. No issues returning to kennel. Loveable, wiggly, snorty! ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week.
