Gumby

My story

This sweet boy is Gumby. He was found on his own on the street very scared. A good Samaritan tried to catch him for several months before successfully building enough trust to let her pick him up. She took Gumby to the vet to see if he had an owner. Sadly he didn't have a microchip. She held onto him during his stray hold and reached out to Shelter Hope to help find him a forever home. When he was found Gumby was in really horrible condition. His fur was filthy and matted, nails overgrown, and missing all of his teeth. Since then he's gotten quite the makeover at the groomers! Gumby enjoys human company. He is a little guy, only 5lb. He likes to relax on his bed. He doesn't like to feel cornered, but really loves being held. Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation. Please fill out our online application and our adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss meeting your new family member. Please be aware if we have already approved another party for the dog you are interested in, you may not get a call from us.
