Mango

My story

Mango came to us in the middle of a medical crisis, and needed emergency surgery to remove a dangerously infected uterus, and restore her to good health.We have very little information about her past, except that she lived with one family since she was a small puppy, and they say she is good with all people and children, and fine around other dogs, cats, and small animals. Everything we`ve seen so far supports that. She has been fine with the dogs she has met at CVHS; says hello, and then goes about her own business in the yard, mostly ignoring the other dogs.She was very unsure of doorways when she came to us, and would submissive-pee, and hesitate to go through them. With kind guidance from staff and volunteers, she has gained confidence, and is doing better with things she previously found scary. She would do best with a new owner who is kind and gentle, and patient with Mango as she experiences new things.A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Mango`s $350.00 adoption fee.
