My story

Meet Vida - a nearly 100 lb girl with a heart as big as she is! A sweet family discovered Vida living in the woods behind their house in late January 2025. She had no collar, appeared to be under fed, and was overall shy but friendly. Since being taken in, Vida has put on weight, received all of her vaccines, and been spayed and microchipped. She knows some basic commands, is kennel trained, walks well on leash, and absolutely loves getting any attention she can from people! Amazing, right?? She sure is! While the family that found Vida has fallen in love with her and hoped to keep her, she is not meshing well with one of their other dogs. She has played with many other dogs at parks and has done great with the other 2 dogs in the home, but she has decided that this one in particular is not her friend - and just like we humans don't like every human we meet, that's totally okay! Vida is looking for a home where she can either be the only dog or where she meets and approves of any dogs already in your home.
