Meet Draco!At 3 years old and 102 pounds, Draco is a gentle giant with a story that tugs at the heart. This Great Dane/American Bulldog mix came to us a little battered—his body marked by old wounds and pressure sores, and his world a bit quieter than most. You see, Draco is deaf.But don’t feel sorry for him—Draco doesn’t want pity. He wants a soft bed, kind hands, and someone to finally see him for the sweet soul he is. Despite the chaos of the shelter and the challenges that come with being deaf, Draco has remained calm, friendly, and resilient.He enjoys quiet moments with staff and is starting to show his playful, goofy side—especially when toys are involved. He’s laid-back, good-natured, and truly just wants a safe place to land and someone patient enough to understand his needs.Draco may not hear your voice, but he’ll feel your love. Could he be your quiet shadow and loyal companion?We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
