My story

Meet Nelly, a 1 ½-year-old APBT mix with a gentle heart and a whole lot of potential. Weighing just under 48 pounds, Nelly has been a bit anxious during his time at the shelter—it’s clear that kennel life is tough on this sweet boy. But even through the stress, his friendly and playful spirit still shines through.Nelly is treat-motivated, curious, and shows glimpses of his happy, goofy side when he’s out and about. He just needs a calm, understanding home where he can take a deep breath and adjust at his own pace.With time, love, and a little patience, we believe Nelly will blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be. He’s ready to trade the noise of the shelter for the comfort of a home—and a person to call his own.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
