My story

Meet Figaro—though around here, we call him Figgy, because once you meet him, you’re on a first-name basis. This stunning 3-year-old gentleman is the full package: charming, playful, and devastatingly handsome. With his soft white coat, bold black markings, and those soulful green eyes, Figgy looks like he stepped straight out of a classic painting... or a very classy cartoon.Figgy was surrendered to us when his cat brother just couldn’t accept him, despite Figgy’s best efforts. It was a heartbreaking change for him, and he arrived at the shelter shy and unsure, trying to make sense of his suddenly upside-down world. But with time, gentle encouragement, and a whole lot of love from our staff and volunteers, Figgy has blossomed into the affectionate, playful sweetheart we knew was in there all along.He loves toys of all kinds—wand toys, crinkle toys, anything that moves just enough to catch his eye. And when playtime winds down, he’s more than happy to curl up for a quiet moment and soak up your affection.Figgy is currently living in one of our free-roam cat rooms with his best pal Ashes, and the two have formed the cutest little bromance. While they could be adopted separately, they would absolutely love to find a forever home together. Two charming cats, one adoption—sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right?
