My story

*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, June 28*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Hi there, I'm Cheeto! I'm known around here for my sweet and friendly nature. My heart is as big as my beautiful eyes. My favourite thing to do is to have a movie day and I love to cuddle. I would be great in a home where I get to be the superstar of your heart. I'm quite the smarty pants too, always figuring out new games and puzzles. I have also learned to sit and wait for my food and water. Play is my middle name! I can turn any ordinary day into a fun adventure. I love kong toys and anything that squeaks.Name: Cheeto (aka Chica)Breed: Boxer mix Age: ~2.5-3 years Weight: ~50lbSex: Female, spayed Colour: Tan with white Medical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with women: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with kids 0-6: Unknown, not testedGood with kids 7-15: Unknown, not tested but likely yes When the dog meets new people she: Approaches cautiously, Wants affection, Rolls on back, Shy, Tail tuckedGood with dogs: Yes, happy to co-exist with other dogsHow does this dog react to meeting new dogs? Submissive, Depends on how the other dog is acting, can be hesitant around new dogsWhat type(s) of dogs does this dog prefer/be best with? None, this dog would be fine in any environmentAny noted separation anxiety? None shown currently, but if steps weren't put in place to prevent it, then I could see it escalatingBarker: Average What would be the ideal home for this dog? Any home! As long as she gets loved on and plenty of attention, she'll be happy.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cheeto, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
