My story

Lilly’s beautiful brown eyes will melt your heart! She is the sweetest little dog and incredibly loyal right from the start. She loves her people, is great with kids. But her absolute favorite things to do are to get belly rubs and give kisses! If you love doggy kisses, she’s your girl! In her foster home, Lilly has access to a doggy door which she took to right away. She loves to go on walks and strut her stuff around the neighborhood. Mostly housebroken if taken out with regular frequency. Lilly seems to be fine with calmer dogs her size-some larger active dogs may scare her. She likely would be completely fine in a home with other pets or as an only companion-she is happy hanging with her people. Lilly would be a special addition to a wide range of homes and would adapt easily to almost any environment, as long as you love her as much as she will love you. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
