Uno

My story

A28309 Uno is a black colored, approximately 10-month-old, 12-pound, neutered male, Domestic Short-Haired cat. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 06-02-2025 due to the fact he had too many pets. Uno is a friendly, but timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to understand this shelter environment and why he is here. He currently hides behind the litterbox, looking for that safe place. He will need a patient new owner who will give him love and the time to decompress. Our staff describes him as a friendly, scared, but easy to handle boy. They said he really didn’t like being carried as maybe he felt too exposed. In the playroom he cautiously explored and sniffed everything. But ultimately picked a safe cubby to watch the room from. The previous owner says he is litterbox trained and has lived with both dogs and cats, but not children. Uno will be a loyal, loving family member in his new forever home.
