A27935 Noah is a tan and black colored, approximately 7-year-old, 66-pound, neutered male, German Shepherd. He entered the shelter as a stray on 05-19-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Noah is a friendly, but timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to understand this shelter environment and why he is here. Our staff says he is scared and unsure right now. But he does like affection and sitting with you in the play yard. He was a little difficult to leash due to him fearing the leash and what this new person wanted. However once outside away from the noise he walks very well on the leash. He will need a patient owner who will give him time to decompress and build trust. He will need some training as he does not respond to any commands. We are not sure if it is because he doesn’t understand or he is just too scared and unsure right now. He shows no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. He came in with a female German Shepherd named Allie and they get along great. It is unknown if they are from the same home. We would recommend a home with no small children as their noise and antics may be too much for him. Noah will be a loyal, loving family member in his new forever home.
