My story

Meet Ladie Ladie is a 3-4 year old survivor of parvovirus who was surrendered to a local shelter. She has some new and old scarring and was placed on the euthanasia list due to shelter stress and shutting down. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now in a safe, loving home. Ladie does great with cats and is still working on being introduced to dogs. She spends most of her time relaxing on the couch. When left alone, she gets a treat then she'll hop into bed and patiently wait for her fosters return. At night, she may start out on the couch, but by morning, she’s often on the bed. Ladie has a playful side and loves to throw her toys around and de-stuff them. She enjoys it when you throw her toys, but she hasn’t quite mastered the return yet. Food is her second love, and she’s happy to share whatever you're eating—bananas, apples, or even lettuce! She sits and waits anxiously for permission to eat her meals and absolutely loves her evening peanut butter lick pad. Ladie is a girly girl with a gentle personality. She can be timid and cautious especially around new things and people. She’s doing well in her current home, which is calm and laid-back, with minimal foot traffic. I believe she would warm up quickly to a family that can offer her a patient, quiet environment where she can build her confidence. Could Ladie be the perfect fit for your home?
