My story

CALL ME… BLONDIE! Looking for a heart of glass? She’s got one. And it’s ready to be yours. Meet Blondie, a 3-year-old, 2-pound apple head chihuahua diva who’s been dreaming of her forever stage — your home. Blondie is being fostered in Toronto. Blondie may be tiny, but she’s full of Atomic charm. She’s sweet, shy, and a total Velcro dog who wants to be with her number one fan (that’s you!) at all times. She’s not one for solos — she doesn’t like to be left alone and thrives when she’s in sync with her people. If you’re looking for a constant companion who thinks the best seat in the house is wherever you are, she’s your girl. Now, Blondie isn’t quite ready for the big time yet — she’s not housetrained, not leash trained, and can’t do stairs. She may never be fully housetrained - especially when the weather gets cold so keep that in mind when applying for her. At only 2 pounds, she’s incredibly delicate and can get cold easily, so she wears kitten-sized clothes to stay cozy (and fashionable). Walking on a leash can be tricky because of her size, and she’ll need a home that’s patient and prepared to help her feel safe and warm. She also has a habit of getting underfoot, which makes her a tripping hazard. We’re also looking for a home without young kids — anyone under 13 might accidentally hurt her by dropping her. This diva has needs but we know we can meet them! Blondie gets along well with other gentle dogs and while her cat compatibility is unknown, she’d probably be just fine. Mostly, she’s just looking for someone who will treat her like the headliner she is — gentle, attentive, and totally devoted. So if you’ve got One Way or Another to give Blondie the love, warmth, and snuggles she craves, don’t leave her hanging on the telephone. Apply to adopt today and let her be your Sunday Girl forever. ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca. Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt BLONDIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
