My story

~ I can live in a single family home with space to run.~ I want to live with adults and older teens who are dog-savvy.~ I prefer to be the only pet so I can get all the attention.~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a family who has owned rambunctious dogs before, is familiar with positive reinforcement training and can provide me lots of mental and physical stimulation.Veve is a fun-loving, high-spirited pup with a zest for life and a heart full of affection! This 43-pound mixed-breed beauty sports a sleek tan coat, adorably oversized ears, and an endless supply of enthusiasm. Still very much a young dog, Veve is ready to bring energy, laughter, and loyalty to the right home. Originally rescued as a stray from Puerto Rico, Veve has grown up loving the outdoors, and it shows! She thrives on activity—whether it’s chasing her favorite toy (which she insists on bringing for walks), exploring new sights and smells, or just sprinting around the yard. She’s also very social and absolutely lives for human interaction. If you`re nearby, expect her to want your attention, whether it`s for playtime, pets, or a squeaky toy party! Veve is quite the chatterbox—she has a lot to say about the world and will let you know what’s on her mind. She’s also got a jumpy, bouncy way of expressing her excitement, which is all part of her larger-than-life personality. She knows a few basic commands in both English and Spanish, and she’s crate-trained according to her former family. With a bit of structure and plenty of exercise, Veve will absolutely shine. She’s looking for an active, experienced adopter who understands high-energy dogs and can provide consistent positive reinforcement, daily exercise, and lots of mental stimulation. At this time Veve would do best as the only pet in the home. Veve is a diamond in the rough—a joyful, intelligent girl just waiting for the right people to help her become the best version of herself. If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll keep you moving and smiling every day, Veve might just be your match. Fill out an adoption application today to learn more about Veve from one of our adoption counselors.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Veve, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
