My story

Meet Landry – A Gentle Giant Looking for His Next Adventure! Landry is a beautiful 6-year-old male St. Bernard who has been deeply loved since the day he was brought home as an 8-week-old puppy. He has spent his entire life with one family, and it shows in his sweet, affectionate nature. Landry is the definition of a gentle giant — he loves to cuddle, gives the best kisses, and would happily share your bed if you let him! He’s fully house-trained, does well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Around the home, Landry is calm and well-mannered. He enjoys being with his people and is happiest when he’s part of the action or snoozing on a big, comfy bed nearby. Landry does have a slightly anxious side and could benefit from continued positive training to help build his confidence. Recently, his family welcomed a new baby, and unfortunately, Landry has struggled with the transition. He has shown some resource-guarding behavior around the baby and within the home — not out of aggression, but because he’s trying to protect what he knows and loves. Because of this, Landry would do best in a calm home with older children or no kids at all. He would thrive in a household where he has space to run and play, a routine he can count on, and a family who understands big breeds and is willing to work with him gently and patiently. Landry is a wonderful dog with so much love to give — he just needs the right environment to feel safe and secure again. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Landry might just be the perfect match.
