Name:   Tina Faye       Best Guess for Breed: Heeler mix   Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of June 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  50 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs!  We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up after completing heartworm treatment!   Special adoption considerations: Tina Faye is a truly Lucky Dog. She tested positive for heartworms, but landed in a place where heartworm treatment is provided! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss where in the treatment process this Lucky Dog is in right now! This sweet mama did a great job of raising her five babies Tamera Mowry, Tara Reed, Taylor Swift, Tia Mowry, and Travis Barker, and they went off to get their own homes. Now Tina is ready to lavish all that love and affection upon a human family. She's eager to know by whose side she will trot on all those adventures - and most of all - to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes, happy tail wags, and loyal companionship.    What do you say? Does Tina Faye get her fresh start with you?
