My story

Meet Saucer... What a Sweetheart Saucer came into the rescue a few weeks ago. He was pulled as a medical case from a Wisconsin puppy mill. Saucer was extremely thin when he came in. The puppy mill reported that he just stopped eating. We knew we had to act fast and get him up North. Saucer was touch and go for a few days, as we had to hand feed him around the clock. Saucer eventually settled into his routine with us, and started eating and drinking on his own. We still had to make sure he ate multiple times a day and night as he was only eating small meals on his own. After about a week, he rapidly gained weight and now eats full meals with the other pups in his foster home. His current eating schedule is now 4x a day which is only 1 additional meal than the other pups in the rescue are eating. We are so impressed by this guy's strength and fight to stay alive. He has touched our hearts in a tremendous way... Saucer is a 14 week old male Cavapoo. He recently was groomed and he loves being pampered. Saucer sleeps in bed with his foster mom and follows her everywhere. Considered low shedding, most people with allergies will do well with his mix, while others may not. We estimate his full growth weight to be around 10- 13 pounds. Saucer will make a great addition to any family. We are looking to place him in a home where people are home more than not, as he does still require 4x a day feedings and he is very used to constant companionship.
