Meet Rue! Rue is a 3-year-old beauty with a curious, playful spirit and a love for wand toys. She’ll even carry her favorite toys over in her mouth when she’s ready to play—it’s the cutest invitation you’ll ever get! When she’s in the mood for affection, Rue will confidently approach for pets, chin scratches, and affectionate head butts. She enjoys being near her human and is quite the conversationalist—chatting back when spoken to and adding her own flair to your day. That said, Rue is an independent girl who appreciates affection on her own terms. She isn’t always in the mood for cuddles, and she’ll let you know when she needs space. A cat-savvy adopter who can respect her boundaries and read her body language will be the perfect match for her. She most likely will do best as the only pet. She’s looking for a dog-free, child-free home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved. Like any queen, she may be a bit defensive or stressed in a new environment at first—but with patience and time, her sweet and playful personality truly shines.
