My story

Meet Auxin – The Sweet Playful Fetch Fiend Auxin’s story is all too familiar in the world of backyard breeding. A 3 years old and 24lbs solid frame. She was given to someone two weeks before they surrendered her to us, after getting her from someone who “bred Frenchie’s for a side hustle.” Well, we’re here to say: dogs are not hobbies, and Auxin is definitely not just a side project. Playful Spirit: This beautiful girl has a delicate spirit wrapped in her heart and so much potential. Auxin’s face could melt a glacier, but she is timid, shy, and unsure of the world at first, but her heart is open and aching for love. When you walk toward her, she may cower or shake, not quite believing that kindness is meant for her. But when she’s outside or with other fur friends, it’s game on. She lights up around other dogs, loves chasing a ball, and gets the happiest wiggles when the breeze hits just right after breakfast. Training: Auxin is crate trained and hasn’t had a single potty accident. She’ll bark or whine to let you know when she’s ready to come out—not in a naughty way, more like, “Hey, I’m ready for my ball and friends now!” It’s a quiet whine of enthusiasm. Foster Update: She wants to trust so badly. She tiptoes into love and then gets nervous and backs away—but give her time, and this little Velcro queen will be a certified stage five clinger, with her independence at the same time. She’ll follow you room to room, watching your every move until she learns it’s OK to settle down on her own or curl up with her furry foster siblings. She is currently being fostered with an amazing family with 3 other dogs and two little cutie humans and they absolutely adore her, she waits for treats from their toddler as she stands on the chair While Auxin’s still learning the language of play and doesn’t quite know when to join or back off, her desire to connect is crystal clear. She’s not aggressive at all—just cautious and gentle. She likes to bounce around watching the ball in your hand with every move you make. Ideal Home: This girl has been bounced from a breeder to an owner, to another temporary home, to rescue, and finally to a loving foster. She is craving stability. She deserves a home that will pour love into her until her past is just a faint shadow. Medical Journey: Well there isn’t any medical concerns, she was just spay and had all her vaccines. Our vet thought it was odd we had a Frenchie with no medical concerns except for some slight allergies. If you’re ready to help Auxin bloom into the confident, goofy, loving girl we know she can be, love for Auxin shouldn’t be temporary. Let’s help this sweet girl finally land in the forever she’s always deserved. Her adoption donation fee is $1050.00 you can apply on our website at freedomfrenchierescue.org. (fostered in Glendale, AZ)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Auxin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
