Dob 11/2024 Matisse spent her first few months of life in a feral colony where she was not cared for. She was full of parasites, malnourished, pregnant, and her dull fur stank with illness. After receiving treatment for her health problems, Matisse is now a beautiful, confident, calico girl with a personality as colorful as she is. She is a social butterfly and loves people, greeting strangers at the door and demanding attention and affection. She loves to chase her treats when thrown and happily competes with others for them. This little girl is a purr bucket and love machine. She is active and playful and loves her toys. As a cuddle monster, she’ll crawl all over you finding just the right place to lay down and stretch, preferably completely on you—so take care with your chest, back, shoulders, hips, ribs, . . . She gets along well with other cats. Dogs are an unknown although her temperament suggests that she would accept them as she does everything else. She is healthy and up to date on all her shots. Matisse is bonded to Wisp, and they look stunning together, in addition to loving each other. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). Adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first served. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats, while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes, we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Matisse (Bonded with Wisp), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
