My story

My foster writes: Hi! I'm Cherry wave (my foster family calls me Jasper, because my foster sister thinks that name fits me better), and my foster mom tells me I am the best boy ever. I always hear her say I am going to make a special future family very happy. I am a sophisticated red headed little man who is well trained on my litter box and scratching post skills. I know where I am supposed to do my business and where I am not. No training is needed whatsoever. I purr loudly, and my family says I sound so cute. I love to be brushed, even more than getting pets. Do not get me wrong, I still like pets and will let you know when I have had enough. I don't think I ever get tired of being brushed. I prefer to sit next to you than on your lap, but I am a lover. My foster sister even gets to carry me around the house, without me getting upset. Please consider adopting me so I can live out life with a furever family. I will greet you at the door and brighten your day every time you look at me.From my foster mom: Cherry wave has been such a joy to be around. I am amazed at how quickly he adapted to his surroundings. He is patient and loving. He follows us around and has the best behavior ever. He is not a big fan of toys, but he cannot get enough of being combed. I have never seen a cat or animal loving grooming so much. Whoever adopts Cherry Wave is going to be very lucky. My foster also writes: Greetings human friends.  It is your favorite orange feline, Cherry Wave (Jasper to my close human companions), live from East Harlem. It has been a few weeks since I checked in last and thought all of you deserved some updates. I continue to bond with my foster mom, sister and even the resident hamster (AKA purrrster).  I like to wake them up every morning with a little song of meows and head nudges to get everyone's day started on the right track.  I like to think of myself as their personal alarm clock.  After my foster mom and sister get back from a day of work and other activities, I like to follow them around the house and bat at their legs for hugs and attention.  I have even started to play with a couple toys. Don't get me wrong, I still love my naps and am a sprinter, not a marathon runner when it comes to playing.  My foster mom always tells me that I could adapt to any situation and be incorporated into any type of family. I love to go out on the balcony for a little sunbathing, but my favorite thing to do is probably eat!!!!!!  I LOVE FOOD.  I continue to be awesome with my potty routines and scratching (I have a favorite small rug that you can get from Target for cheap that I love more than a scratching post).  I have not had one accident and have NOT scratched furniture.  I am always on my best behavior.  My foster home has been awesome, but I would love to have one of you out there become my furever family so I can prove to you what has been missing from your home until you found me. Primary Color: Orange Weight: 12 Age: 6yrs 2mths 1wks
