My story

Meet, McDreamy, one of the most beautiful cats I've ever rescued. He showed up on our townhouse complex ground back in March of 2025. It took me a while to trap him... on account of his size. He's such a big boy, he was able to eat the bait without stepping on the trip plate. He's coming along well in his socialization... still growling and swatting (with claws) at times but he's also curious and wanting human contact. He cries the moment you walk in the room and wants head and neck scratches... pushing his head into your hand. He also come to the front of the cage to smell my face and breathe! Do you have the heart of a rescuer and experience socializing a cat from the streets? I'd LOVE to get him out of a cage and into a home environment... in case you know someone who's experienced with taming wild beasts - please share this one! His rescue journey is chronicled in Photo Album #34 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on all our cats and kittens). McDreamy's adoption will include his: * Neuter surgery, * De-worming, * Flea and mite treatment, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * and Microchipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making this cutie a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates). Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt McDreamy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
