My story

Trudy showed up at our doorstep skinny, hungry, surprisingly clean, and super affectionate. Once we gave her some pets, she followed us all the way down the block: we knew we had to help her. She was clearly somebody's cat at some point, and we can't imagine how or how she ended up on the street. Trudy is pure joy and love wrapped in a strikingly beautiful black/orange Halloween coat (with white socks). She enjoys pets, wet food, and companionship, and we are confident that she has kitten energy to be released as soon as she settles it in somewhere. We're still getting to know her, but it's so obvious that she's going to make a new parent(s) very happy someday. If you're looking for your first cat or a fast friend—and some serious cuddles and lap-sitting, Trudy is ready to meet you! Trudy DeGroat-Horst is 2-3 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)
