My story

Hi there, I’m Pinto Bean. The cutest little 4-year-old, 7.8 lb. Chihuahua, this side of the Rio Grande! I was living on the streets of San Antonio, Texas, with my little compadre, Frisco. We were hoping for a miracle where a bowl of dog food would appear, but we got so much more! A good Samaritan picked us up and offered us to 4 Little Paws Rescue, so we are living in a foster home, safe and sound, well fed, having fun, and getting ready to find forever homes. My foster mom says I’m a sweet little lap dog with a medium energy level and a go-with-the-flow attitude. I make friends easily with people, and I get along with other dogs, but I’m more focused on people and not the doggy playmate type. I’m more of a little snuggle bug, always ready for pets and attention, but not very kissy. I like dog toys and chew bones, and doggy treats are the best! Yum Yum! I am sweet and well-behaved. Already housebroken, only bark to alert you, okay in a crate, and I’m not in favor of sharing my food bowl with other dogs. I LOVE LOVE LOVE going for walks, and I ride nicely in a car. I’m just super cute, easy-going, and when you call my name, I will come bouncing towards you, filled with excitement! Yep, I’m ready to find my future, and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be. Inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
