My story

Animal ID: 858962 How this pet arrived: Mimi was brought in by his previous owner on May 30, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Introducing Mimi. She's beauty, she's grace, she'll smack you in the face-if you overstep your boundaries. Mimi is a stunning feline with strong opinions and zero tolerance for nonsense. She's not looking for a home with noisy kids, wild dogs, or anyone who thinks picking her up is part of the deal. Think zen garden, not a theme park. Mimi is the textbook definition of a cat who needs time, space, and respect. She will require an extended confinement period in her new home (yes, we're talking a "room of her own" situation) to decompress and adjust at her own pace. Don't expect purring cuddles on day one-or day ten. Forced cuddling or manhandling will get you a swift paw of disapproval. This includes vet visits-please make sure you're working with a Fear Free certified vet who understands the fine art of low-stress feline diplomacy. And seriously, skip the bath. Mimi keeps herself clean and has no patience for spa day shenanigans. Oh, and when it's time to take her home? Bring a top-loading cat carrier. Trust us. Wrestling her into a front-loader is a terrible idea and will result in both of you questioning your life choices. Mimi deserves a safe, stress-free journey-and so do you.Shy/Fearful Cat:  Mimi requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Black Tabby Weight: 9 Age: 2yrs 8mths 4wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mimi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
